About us

The application k-Solar System has been developed thanks to the cooperation between the Juan de Lanuza School and the BIFI- Biocomputation and Physics of Complex Systems Institute of the University of Zaragoza.

This cooperation is developed upon the basis of the Juan de Lanuza Educational Innovation Professorship signed on March 2012 by the Juan de Lanuza School and the Faculty of Education of the University of Zaragoza.

This professorship establishes a continuous channel of joint work with the University with the aim of developing in a common way projects and applications for pedagogical innovation which will allow the students to approach the working and corporate worlds as well as investigation from a whole new perspective.

The vast experience of the Juan de Lanuza School in innovative projects and methods, together with the unique vision of technology that the BIFI provides, have made the development of this state-of-the-art application possible.

Besides from the realism of the simulation of the different scenarios and the original control system based on Microsoft Kinect, it is important to take into consideration the rigor of the pedagogical methodology proposed in the Activity Book. All of this makes up a unique environment of learning and practice of the Solar System.
